Northern Region Championships 08/10/2023

We had our largest ever competition entry at the KUGB Northern Region Championships, with 17 competitors taking part. Every single one represented the club amazingly well, and we were so proud of the performances. The standard is very high, so while we may not always win, we do gain valuable experience, and receive inspiration from watching the excellent karate on display. It's no small thing even to take part, but we must remember that doing new things, especially where we're not comfortable, is how we grow, as people as well as karateka. Huge congratulations to Kai, who achieved second place in his kumite event, and we were very pleased to achieve second place in the adult team kata.
